Are sale prices only for the first year? Print

Yes — sale prices for domain names apply only to the first year, because the company we partner with sets and controls those promotional rates. These sales usually don’t last long, and we don’t have the ability to extend or change them.

However, unlike GoDaddy, Bluehost, and many other large registrars, your renewal price with us does NOT jump dramatically after the first year. Once the sale period ends, your domain renews at our standard, stable pricing, and that price does not increase year after year.

This means you get the benefit of a first‑year discount without the surprise renewal spikes that other companies are known for.
